The 10th Solidarity Christmas Supper was, as usual, held by Remar Association in Partnership with Constant Sharing “Partilha Constante”, it was very special for us and for all those who could receive a plate of food and comfort.
This Christmas Supper is held annually for all people in need, especially for the homeless, drug addicts, orphans, and for those families in need who, for some reason, do not have the resources to carry out all their christmas plans.
This is how we ended the year with a Social Assistance Program, with actions to support a large number of people in Portugal. In partnership with Remar Association, we have carried out many social assistance activities throughout the year in terms of food, shelter, rehabilitation and homelessness, which can now witness how they have been rescued from marginalization.
At the Christmas Dinner in Lisbon, 300 meals were offered. In the city of Porto, were also offered about 200 meals, as well as clothing, offers and footwear, to those in need.
In Setúbal, in the third celebration of the Christmas supper in this city, 30 meals were offered. And in the city of Coimbra, which held this event for the first time, 30 meals were also served.
We want to thank all those who are part of these Help Projects, directly or indirectly, with their Supports, Donations and Volunteering, remembering that we can still do much more!
