Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year the Christmas Supper was made as Take Away format. Constante Sharing Association, in partnership with Remar Portugal, carried out this activity in the cities of Lisbon, Oporto, Coimbra and Portimão. Our usual Christmas Supper for all the people in need, especially for the homeless, drug addicts and families with limited resources, to enjoy the best this Christmas season.
We had a trucks prepared for this purpose, distributing everything with the appropriate materials and with the necessary conditions and precautions. They were distributed to all those present with this Traditional Christmas Food, Potatoes with Codfish with their accompaniments.
Around 700 meals were distributed in the cities of Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra and Portimão. This is an event that brings much joy, comfort, and hope to all of us. People know they can count on “someone” at this time of year. It is also gratifying for each of the Volunteers who decides to give their time and love to others, at a time when expectations are so often undermined by limited resources. But we still believe in something bigger than our difficulties.
